Topic: Black Man, You were represented in the beginning
There are many animals that have been placed on the endangered species list. What this means is that the survival that particular animal is in serious trouble. When something like this is recognized, then special care is given to assist in the survival of that species. Now in my little calculable mind, I wonder why the Black Male hasn’t been considered an endangered species. As a people we make up only 12% of the population in America, with this calculation being used it classifies us as a minority.
Yet there is some shocking information concerning this 12% of the Countries population, one is that at least 50% of the prison population is Black. The next thing is that more than 50% of all murder victims in this country are Black people. Then let us consider this statistic, there are more Black baby boys born than baby girls, yet by the time a young Black woman reaches adulthood, she outnumbers her male counterparts by six to one. We should be in agreement that these are some alarming statistics. But the real tragedy is that these conditions are not getting any better, but in reality, are getting worse day by day. These are some serious problems, non of which will ever go away by denying their existence. If the Black Man was a bird or another type of animal in the wild, he would probably be placed on the endangered species list, and millions of dollars would be allocated to reserve the plight of his extinction.
We simply cannot continue to blame White America alone for our present day situation. We need to know that some of that blame belongs to us. How can we expect others to respect us, when we constantly demonstrate our own dislike and hatred for one another. The truth is that laws are already on record that afford everyone, regardless of race creed or religion, equal protection. It is also true that many of the Blacks who are incarcerated actually disobeyed the law and were legally convicted, and in most cases properly sentenced per the statue of those same laws. Many of the problems of hopelessness, violence, and despair exist because America continues to tolerate racial prejudice. Yet much of the crime in the Black community is Black on Black crime. Where does the responsibility for all this misbehavior lie? Why are so many Black people seemingly so bent on a path of self destruction? What is the cause of this character flaw which seems to lower the appreciation of the value of life?
When people are robbed of the knowledge of who they are and are treated as second class inferior beings, their behavior will always be affected. In an effort to better understand this point of view, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. In other words some misunderstood and continue to misunderstand who Jesus is.
Now I really need your prayers right now, because what I’m about to reveal to you may cause many to go into shock! Do you remember in your Bible reading when the wise men visited the young Jesus? And do you remember how King Herod had inquired that they bring him word of the child’s whereabouts? Herod wanted to kill Jesus. So the wise men were warned of God in a dream to return to their land another way. And what did God tell Joseph to do? Wasn’t Joseph told to take the Child and His mother and flee into Egypt? Now if you have been paying attention to all that has been said this month, you’ll know that Egypt was a land of Black people.
Well now if Jesus was White with long straight hair as those images depict Him, why would God send Him to hide out in a land of Black people.? Wouldn’t that be the easiest place to find a white skinned child? On the other hand it would also be a very difficult place to locate a Black skinned child. And if this child was Black, what does that say about Joseph His earthly father and Mary His mother? Wouldn’t they also have to be of the same race to be declared as His parents? Well now if we can see where this is going, Let’s back up again to the beginning, where God said let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. So out of the dust of the ground, the Lord God formed man, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Then God placed man in an area which is geographically identified by four Rivers which pass through it. One of these Rivers was called Gi’hon. This River is known today as the Nile River, which is in the land of Ethiopia. And the word Ethiopia means Black people those who were the descendants of Cush, the son of Ham, the son of Noah. Another of the Rivers was called Pi’son. The Pi’son River is in the Land called Havilah which also was of the inhabitants of Black people who were the descendants of Havilah, the son of Cush, the son of Ham, the son of Noah. The third River was called Hiddekel. This River Known today as the Tigris River. It flows through a land known as Assyria whose ancient capital was the city of Nineveh which was built by a Black man named Nimrod, the son of Cush, the son of Ham the son of Noah. Then the fourth and final River was the great Euphrates. This River runs through the region known as Syria which in ancient times was known as the land of Cush, the son of Ham, the son of Noah The largest city and the Capital of Syria is Damascus.
It was on that Damascus road that the Apostle Paul was converted.. In the beginning, there were Black people. And for those who would not want to take the Word of God at face value, maybe they would listen to the findings of Dr. Allen Wilson a molecular biologist at the University of California at Berkley. Dr. Wilson found conclusive genetic evidence that all people descended from a single African woman he named "Eve". Using DNA, the genetic blueprint of people, Dr. Wilson proved that all people regardless of their present race, descended from this African or from this Black woman. Time, Newsweek, U.S. News, and World Report in recent articles also indicate that the first Human was of African origin, and that the root of all languages originated in Africa. So as this month long celebration of Black History comes to an end, though we have come a long way, we still have a terribly long way to go. We are still hurting as a people because we continue to stay divided, because of our social and economical differences. And everyone knows that a house divided against itself cannot stand. We are hurting as a people because our history has all but been erased from before us; and without a past there is little or nothing to direct one’s future. We are hurting as a people because we can’t see our way to trust one another. We used to have Black businesses operating within the Black community, which were supported with black dollars, which were in returned recycled within the Black community. But where are they today. We are hurting as a people because we have allowed ourselves to believe that we can make it on our own, because we have the basic instinct to make it. Even if this means inflicting hurt harm or exposing other Black folks to danger.
So I stopped by to tell you today, that no man, no Red man, no Yellow man, no White man and certainly no Black man can make without God. In the Word of God there is a wealth of truth which can uncover all that has been hidden about the Black man his God and his religion. The first King on record was Nimrod. The Bible declared Nimrod to be a mighty hunter and that he was blessed by God. Nimrod was also one of the first known architects, and built such great cities as Cities in Assyria such as Nineveh, and Calah, the latter of which became the home of the Queen of Sheba. Canaan that son of Ham’s whom was the father of the Canaanites, whose land was called a land that flows with milk and honey, was that promised land which God chose to give to the children of Israel as an inheritance. Some of the descendants of Canaan included the Zidonians AKA the Phoenicians, the Amorites, Jebusites, (The builders of the City of Jerusalem), the Girgashites, Hivites, the Arkites, Sinites and Arvadites, the Zemarites. The descendants of Phut another son of Ham’s, were the nation known as the Philistines with their champion Goliath whom David slew and beheaded. The Assyrians a Black Nation would be called upon by God to carry Israel the Northern Kingdom into captivity. The Babylonians another Black Nation would also be used by God to carry the Judah the Southern Kingdom away into captivity.
The Egyptians who designed and constructed the great Pyramids which today are still world wonders were a Black Nation. Abraham had a son by his Egyptian wife named Keturah, whose name was Shuah. Shuah is said to be the father of the Shulammites. Of these Shulammites was a woman so beautiful that she made King Solomon crazy. He was so crazy in love with this Black woman that he wrote her the greatest love letter of all times and that love letter was placed into the Holy Bible and called the Song of Solomon. Bilhah a Black Canaanite woman bear Jacob a son and called his name Dan. In addition to the Falashas, the Ethiopian Jews, all of the members of the tribe of Dan unto this day are Black. Then there were the two men named Simon that were Black. Simon the Canaanite was one of the disciples of Jesus, and Simon of Cyrene who was called upon to carry the cross of Christ. Least we forget the Canaanite prostitute who risked her own life to help the spies who were sent by Joshua into Jericho. This Black woman named Rahab is in the genealogy of King David, King Solomon, and King Jesus.
As I move on to a close, it would be easier to erase the blackness from the Black man’s skin than to remove God from his historical past. God made sure that our lostness in this world, would never be lost from His Word. In the Word of God, a Black man was the first architect to design and build buildings with brick. In the Word of God, the greatest empires of ancient times were designed, built, and ruled by Blacks namely Egypt and Babylon. In the Word of God, it was a Black Priest named Jethro who conducted the first worship service after Israel crossed over the Red Sea. In the Word of God, this same Jethro was credited with idea and the institution of the first known multilevel court system. In the Word of God, the Black people have never been written out, but have been credited with many achievements. So now as this month long celebration draws to an end, never forget, that when we walk with God, we are blessed by Him. But when we walk contrary to Him we loose His divine blessings and protection. And no matter how well we believe we are doing, we will never reach our fullest potential if we deny and fail to embrace our spiritual roots in Jesus, for He has been good to us as a people. So hold your heads up high Black folks, be glad that as we say good bye to Black History month, we can still say Hello to Biblical History and be glad that it included us. When the Lord said whosoever, He included you and He included me. When others tried to write us out, God wrote us in; and when God writes you in, nobody *** can write you out. What a friend we have in Jesus
